THE HISTORY OF ENAGIC
In 1974 in Okinawa, Japan, Sony’s trading operation, the precursor of Enagic®, began operations. Enagic® was founded by Mr. Hironari Ohshiro and Yaeko Ohshiro and is based on their 3 true health principles:
1. Realising true physical health … through pure and healthy drinking water.
2. Realising true financial health … through a wealth-developing business opportunity.
3. Realising true mental / metaphysical health … through personal growth and finding contentment in all aspects of life.
In 1987, The Japanese Ministry of Health and Welfare authorized the Enagic® Osaka factory as a medical equipment manufacturer and Enagic® was now delivering high quality ionisers throughout Japans hospitals for cleaning equipment, keep patients healthy and speed up their recovery time.
In 2002, Enagic® was awarded honourable endorsements from the Japanese Association of Preventive Medicine for Adult Disease (an organisation of over 6,500 doctors) This organisation selects only one company, per industry, to receive their two awards: Product Recognition and Endorsement Recognition. From a field of over 30 Japanese ioniser companies, Enagic® and Kangen Water® received both of these awards.
By 2004, The Yanbaru Natural Materials factory was registered as an FDA (food and drug administration) facility. Furthermore Enagic’s Kangen Ukon is recommended by the Japanese Association for the Prevention of Geriatric Diseases.
In 2010, the Kangen Ukon™ was patented and in 2011, Enagic® receives WQA (Water Quality Association) certification.
For five decades, Enagic International has been the leader in manufacturing water- ionisation systems that transform regular tap water into pure, healthy, electrolytically-reduced and hydrogen-rich drinking water. Enagic® is the only water ioniser company in the world with 3 Gold Seal Certificates by an independent authority on water quality. Enagic® is a member of the Direct Selling Association (www.DSA.org) and is the only water ioniser company to make this list.
